Why Lumos?

I'm often asked how I came up with the name "Lumos" for the practice. Some people catch the reference immediately. I am a huge Harry Potter fan and fully immersed myself in the books when I was younger, but my love for the wizarding world and all of the valuable lessons it taught me has never dwindled. Lumos is a spell that the characters learn at Hogwarts to create light. And here in our space, we focus on that light within every single patient. We work with patients' nervous systems -- the electrical system of the body. We literally amplify your inner light so you can be best prepared for your life journey. And that, my friends, is why we named our office Lumos.
