Pregnant People
Women's Health and More

Women and pregnant people have their own unique health care needs. After trying and failing to find a general practioner who could satisfactorily answer her personal health care question's, Dr. Long realized there was a need in health care for general practitioners to take a closer look at women's health from a natural perspective. From then on, Dr. Long has had a special interest in women's health and pregnancy. Most chiropractors focus on pregnancy, but at Lumos we realize that all stages of reproductive health are important. So, whether children aren't for you, you're struggling to get pregnant, are 6 weeks post partum, or anything in between, we have the tools and referral network to accompany your health care goals*.

Innate centered chiropractic focuses on improving the body's ability to adapt and respond. Women typically deal with stress differently than men, resulting in different physical consequences. Studies show that chiropractic and nutrition can help the body resolve many secondary conditions. If you are living with  any of the following, or are curious if we can help you in any other department, schedule a consultation today to see if you are a candidate for care.

* Chiropractic care is not intended to replace gynecological, obstetric care, nor the care of your primary care physician. It is a supplement to treatment provided by your medical doctor. Any reproductive health care concerns should always be discussed with your primary care physician and OB/Gyn first to rule out pathology and to make sure you are a good candidate for non-invasive alternative care. We do not cure or treat any of these issues, however it is not uncommon to see resolution or improvement of secondary expressions as a result of care.
